Financial Seminar

In lieu of regular worship service, we welcome all to attend the Financial Seminar in the Worship Center. Learn helpful tools about budgeting, saving, and doing finances in a way that honors the Lord. Hear from financial consultants and advisors, and special guests from MO Baptist Foundation.

If you have already registered, please note the structure of the seminar has changed slightly. Feel free to attend even if you are only able to stay for a portion of the full seminar (4-7pm). See schedule below.

5:20-6:00 – Ryan McGhee: Investment Vehicles and Strategies

6:00-6:30 – Steve Trefts: Wills and Trusts

6:30-7:15 – Dr. Neil Franks (MBF): Various uses of Trusts to accomplish charitable intent

6:30-7:15 – Chuck Easter: Getting out of Debt and on the Road to Financial Security (A break out session in the choir room)

General Financial Stewardship
Chuck Easter, Business owner, Financial Chairman at Canaan
The first part of basic financial stewardship principles. In this session Chuck will discuss financial priorities, establishing a basic budget, the importance of saving, tithing and the heart behind doing finances God’s way—and the blessings that flow as a result.
General Financial Stewardship
Adam Hartz, Financial Consultant 
The second part of basic financial stewardship principles. In this session, Adam will continue what Chuck began by discussing the importance of financial planning. He will discuss such topics as the importance of insurance, longer term budgeting, wills and powers of attorney.

Ryan McGhee, Financial Advisor
This course is geared towards those who are ready or want to get to where you are being intentional and strategic about savings and investing. Ryan will discuss several strategies and options for investments from stocks, mutual funds and bonds to other options as well.
