The Women's Ministry of Canaan Baptist Church would like to introduce two ministry opportunities:

CANAAN CARES MINISTRY-Teams of 2 or 3 women who make one visit per month to our members unable to attend church or people who have lost a spouse in the past year. The time commitment is about 1 hour per month. To be included in a team or for more information contact Glenda Gray, Canaan Cares Coordinator.

QUILL MINISTRY-Quill is a writing ministry of WM that meets 1 hour/month (during the school year) to send personal notes to people visited by our Canaan Cares teams as well as periodic notes to volunteers in our church, surrounding community, college students and members of the armed forces. To be included in the Quill meeting reminders, contact Ann Reinheimer, Quill Coordinators.

Women Walking Wisely-The women’s ministry at Canaan Baptist Church, strives be “instep” with the lives of ladies. Propelled by the mission of Titus 2, the women ministry is purposed to encourage others and “teach what is good” (Titus 2:3).  Join them in the journey as they seek to walk wisely!

Connect-With weekly Bible studies available throughout the year, ladies can connect in small group settings. These in-depth studies not only provide an opportunity to connect but also promote personal spiritual growth. Daytime or evening meetings are a time of encouragement, inspiration, and worship.

Recharge-From scrapbooking, to meal making, to decoratingyour home, to self defense courses we strive to engage women in our area.  Offering events such as our November "Once Upon A Holiday" and Women of Faith conference, women will find a time to refresh and recharge for their busy lives.
