- We believe that the Scriptures of both the Old and New Testaments are the inerrant, infallible, God-breathed, verbally inspired Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16).
- We believe in the triune God: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.; each is co-equal with the other. (Genesis 1:26, Matthew 28:19, 2 Corinthians 13:14)
- We believe that Jesus Christ, God’s Son, was born of a virgin (Luke 1:27-35); that He is both God and Man (Philippians 2:6-8); that His substitutionary and atoning death on the cross by the shedding of His blood (Hebrews 9:22), offers to us eternal life; His bodily resurrection (Luke 24:1-8), and His literal, bodily return to earth where He will rule & reign at His Second Coming (John 14:2-3).
- We believe the Holy Spirit indwells all believers at the moment they accept the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior (Titus 3:5).
- We believe that “All have sinned” against God (Romans 3:23). Adam, a literal man, plunged all of creation into a fallen state when he sinned against God. Sin separates people from God.
- Salvation is God’s “free gift” to us. We believe in salvation “by grace through faith” in Christ (Ephesians 2:8,9). This free gift comes to us when “confession is made” (Romans 10:9-10).
- Heaven & Hell: We believe in an everlasting Hell for those who reject His gift of Salvation (Revelation 20). We believe in an everlasting Heaven that is prepared for those who trust Jesus as Savior (Revelation 21).
- Baptism is a picture and an illustration—a symbolic act of having already given one’s life to follow Jesus Christ. Baptism by immersion best illustrates the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ on our behalf and our subsequent faith in Him. It is not necessary for salvation, but is strongly associated with salvation as it best illustrates our new identity with Jesus Christ. (Luke 3:21,1 Peter 3:21)
